Now I’ve noticed that the Expedia campaign is very very similar to the Microsoft Windows Phone Campaign, in terms of the visual language used. OK it’s identical. And the two segue together in this outdoor spot.  Presumably deliberately as (someone correct me if I’m wrong) Microsoft own some or all of expedia.  But it’s never communicated as a microsoft product.  Also will the upcoming windows 7 campaign use a ‘spinny orb of attached itemness’ too, as it’s all kinda like the vista orbed windows logo? I guess it’s just an attempt to give all microsoft products a common visual identity, like the intel sting, only less fucking annoying.  And of course none are remotely like any of these.
