The underside of the new mac books is a dirty grey rubber. These ones in apple store already had nasty stains after oh about 20 on the shop floor. The connection between the plastic body and the rubber base is a bit rough, feels harsh and had some gaps. Not very good at all. Sorry for the bad photo - it was taken with an iPhone ;)
