iCon: Forget macBook Air - web clip icons are where it’s at. Simple things like this make me happy. They are so easy to set up (forget favicon nightmares) - even on sites like tumblr (which hosts this site) just create a 57x57 png file called apple-touch-icon.png, and put it in your root directory. Note - the iPhone/iPod adds the rounded edges and the shimmer effect, though adding your own gradient as well is nice.
