I came across this amazing 8bit NES version of Left 4 Dead on youTube, quite a labour of love. And it reminded me of a project i worked on for SCEE back in 2001, an 8bit version of the first 10 mins or so of jak and daxter’s first outing, though its probably more 16 bit/snes level. http://www.jakanddaxterlegend.com/en/game.htm The site is still live, though it’s 8 year old javascript doesn’t play nicely with modern browsers, the game is thankfully java so works ok on the link above. It could do with some sound though. These things make me happy.
