I went to see gary numan last night, it was a 30th anniversary of ‘the pleasure principle’ which made me feel old, though not to fear when i saw the crowd i felt younger ;)I guess ‘the pleasure principle’ was the first proper LP I ever bought. Grease being the first, as a gift. It sounded great again, and was reproduced pretty faithfully. Then they ditched some of the synths and brought on the guitars for his newer stuff, and FUCKING NOISE! it was bloddy brilliant, and to my surprise the crowd really loved the new stuff too. Mostly hard core fans I guess. If you haven’t heard the newer numan stuff, do.
