You’ll have goosebumps, tear up one minute, and wet yourself laughing the next.  You thought nothing would ever beat Beijing? You underestimated Britain, and more importantly the genius of Danny Boyle. Everything - music, lighting, props, performers, costumes, choreography - is fantastic and would not be out of place in a Hollywood blockbuster. The London 2012 Opening Ceremony has everything that it means to be British: who we were, who we are now, and how we got here; all aspects of our culture and heritage. I left the arena feeling so proud to be British, to be a part of The Greatest Show on Earth. The world will be watching. I can’t wait.
