yer a diamond geezer: HTC Diamond, is quite stunning, though a little more plasticy and cheap looking in the flesh. Nethertheless its amazingly small, and packs in a super 2.8inch 640x480 screen, way higher res than the iPhones 3.5 inch 480x320 screen, but much smaller. I had a quick go of one and was immediatly disapointed by the responsiveness. However there was a factory shipped screen protector in place which may well of been hampering touch recognition. Its probably not an out and out iPhone beater, but alot of people will prefer it to Steves baby. Around £430 sim free, and next to nothing on a contract in a couple of weeks time on Orange, Vodafone and T-mobile (called mda vario IV i think) probably on O2 as well.
