true knowledge beta: a new sort of search site has gone into beta - like a cross between wikipedia and google it seeks to find answers - rather than just a set of links to pages that may or may not answer your query. It’s got all the usual super clever technology behind it - and users input to populate the knowledge. So far its hit the mark about 50% of the time - and that’s with me deliberately entering obscure questions to try and break it. This site will save you calling 118 118 ask us anything!
Unlike repositories like Wikipedia, the knowledge isn’t in the form of text but in a form that computers can process to derive new knowledge and answer questions it hasn’t seen before.
scary stuff - watch out its all going to go matrix or terminator on our sorry desk bound asses!
So if it’s answers you need, try true knowledge - Maybe the writers of LOST and X-files should check it out.
