naughty HMV: ok so Metallica’s “Death Magnetic” has already been sold too early in france (resulting in a mass internet leak). So it seems west end HMV don’t seem to care its not officially released until tomorrow. Hard times for music retail means get the product on the shelves and shift some units.
Update - apparently it was an officially sanctioned embargo break - link aka pr stunt :) Its odd to have an album release on a friday - as its normally Monday in the UK, and Tuesday in the USA.
